Anybody in FL that can check this car out for me?
I HATE the front grille, but other than that ...the car looks flawless for a late model 05.
I'm stuck on a low mileage 06, but this car is a beaut. I asked the seller to send pics of the wheels and front end, car is MINT.
Can someone check this car out in FL for me? Will pay a fee for your time and effort... Thank you for any help...
Price is a tad high for an 05 I thought, too. He wants $33,900. I was thinking more like $29ish?

I'd check it out for you too if it were a little closer, that's about 3.5 hrs from here. That car does look very clean. Im sure some folks on here will tell you it's too much even at 30, but in the end it's a rare used car and if it's worth it to you, then that's what it's worth. Good luck in your search!

I've been having a devil of a time finding an 06 with under 50K miles that's clean for months now.

Nice! You found a late 05 like we talked about. That is the same as an 06. When you see the slidind center console, that is pretty much the updated car. Should have the newer clutch pack as well. No chirping! Two owner and in a nonsnow state!!!!!

Seems pretty steep, no warranty, etc.

This place is a joke.
That's a lot of money for an E55. And that's assuming the car needs nothing. If someone checks it out for you and it looks good, I highly recommend you take it to a local dealership for a buyers inspection. Shouldn't cost more than about $150. And at some point remove the fuel sender access covers under the rear seat and check for fuel leaks. That can be as much as $3000 for a new tank.

I was there Tuesday, saw this one and a black one, both looked flawless. I was there also last week inspecting two older 560SLs and they too were flawless. This guy sells top notch stuff. If rocket can't make it and time permits I might be able to check it out with one of our SDS scanners as well. Good luck.

Damn that one looks immaculate as well! It's clean across the country for this guy but it's only a $1200 hauler ride away ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It depends if you like pano or not. For me it's a negative. I want to go fast..and it's extra weight, car out of warranty it's more stuff to break, they have a tendency to rattle and squeak, and it's hotter than hell here five months out of the year and I want as little greenhouse effect as possible. The black roof looks cool on the silver though.

Here's an 06 with 31xxx miles for about the same price and it has pano.

Yea, I'm not a fan of the pano either to be honest. Last few summers have been 100+ most of the summer with ridiculous humidity. On top of that, I honestly don't like the pano roof.
RedBullJunky was supposed to be checking out the silver 2005 for me. I actually spoke to the guy and he wouldn't go further than $33,500 for the car. So I'm gonna tell Redbull not to waste his time. Simply too much money.
I think that's too steep for a 2005 or even 2006 even in that condition.
I guess I'm just going to keep looking, I'm in no rush as I have a secondary DD car and will take as much time as needed until I find the right one.
Having said that, since I will be waiting it out, I will wait for an 06 ...
