for the m156 motor would running a meistercraft axle back with straight pipe be louder
or
would running stock exhaust straight pipe with supersprint headers be lounder?

Once you remove your cats it's either way it will be louder but once you switch to meistershaft then it will really wake up the exhaust

i currently have the car straight piped w/ meistercraft exhaust on and it is loud, however too loud.
thinking about putting on headers, leaving it straight piped and taking off the meistercraft.
but do not want it to be louder than it currently is. just wanting to get some feedback from someone who has heard both setups

Do you still have the stock mufflers?

Based on my setup, headers, no primary's I have secondaries, resonator and stock mufflers and it sounds stock. If you put the stock mufflers back on it will quite it down or if you put the resonator back on it will quite it down as well.
