Is a bluetooth puck really all I need for my E55 wagon?

So my "new-to-me" wagon already has a Motorola V60 (or something) cradle in it. From my web searches, I think all i need is a bluetooth puck (MB Part # B67876131 ) to replace the cradle.

Is that really it? or am I missing something? These things seem to go for $500 from MB, and about $200 on ebay. (unless someone has one they're willing to sell)

Can anyone confirm that's really all I need or is there a better bluetooth based solution? Would be great if my phone book was synched or at least if I could use the iphone's voice activated dialing?

If you've already got the cradle in the armrest, then yes, all you need is the bluetooth puck. B6 787 5878 should also work.

iPhone's Siri/ iPhone's in house voice activation won't work but the phonebook should port over. If your car has the voice recognition feature, that will work to make calls (although the MB system is just so so).

I've got the little plug/port thing in the center console, so this part is all I need? I've had this car for over a year and haven't tackled this yet.

Also, I love your R63 build thread!

Yep, as long as you have that plug thing in the center console, you only need the "puck." That's how I set it up on my R which I believe uses the same Command system as your E (MCSII).

Thanks!
