So the upgrades begin - What else to consider?

So first of all - I wanted to thank all those that have posted DIY - this has been of great help and appreciate all the details and effort that people put into these.

So I thought I would share some of what I was doing and if anyone had any other thoughts while I have the front bumper off etc.

Here is a list of what I'm planning on getting done this week (or two - pending on ordering additional parts)

Projector Fog lights - see Pics attached
Larger Heat Exchanger (pending properfitment - dont really want bulge)
New upgraded Bosch 010 water pump for HE
HID - Fog lights (6000K) - again see pics.
Type of bulbs - Headlights - comparing D2S bulbs - for color (easier to switch while out)
Ordered replacement clips that were already broken for grille

Considering still
White or Smoked side marker lights
Considering wiring in 50w Ballasts for main headlights
Considered the clear ZKR clear lenses but dont feel like baking my lights
Considering HID kit for inside highbeams

Is there anything else that one would consider doing for access while I have the front bumper off?

I did consider the E63 front end upgrade - but passed since I dont mind the current look (even though it would of negated the dreaded HE fat lip)

Thanks all

Oh - attached pics
(both are fogs are using the same HID 6000K bulb and ballest - amazing to see the difference the lense\housing can make in both output and color)

(Lucky the ugly license plate covers the holes!)

Both OEM and Projector

OEM

As you can see the projector cut off and light output is WAY better

One last question for those who have installed a larger HE? - when bleeding out the system - I understand the concept etc - but I guess what I was trying to understand is if you mount the HE - and the exit nipple on the HE is below the top the HE - won't air get stuck in there and I dont see the pump being stong enough to push out the air?

So my thought was to not mount it and tilt it to fully bleed out the air -then mount it - did anyone else do that or think of that?

Thanks all
JP

If you pinch the return lines near the bleed nipple up on top in the engine bay then you should have sufficient for to push out any trapped air.
