Ha! no doubt. I always see you on the flyers as the resident DJ.
I've been trying to get out there for weeks but end up somehow at 466 Aura in LI or the city.
I still want to see classics with tsettos or devito, JP ETC!
I missed the JP classics and Thanksgiving eve party! I bet you play good beats if you play all these legendary DJ's.
I remember we were coming down on the 12th from Mamaroneck in Westchester and half way on the 495 two exits from Westbury. We tune in 92.3 and heard the live show it was bananas and almost turned the car around.

I'm sure I'll see you soon. Until then stay safe![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Coding is a bit involved , more so than most mods as you have to go into several modules. I am pretty sure I posted the steps (people here like to keep things a secret) on the forum somewhere.

Instrument cluster, left door control module and one more module in BODY which I forget have to be set as present or fitted, but first you need the mirrors right? I still have my 03-06 folding mirrors for sale that nobody wants to buy.

The new folding mirrors come disassembled from the dealer.

I read through this thread, and thanks to everyone for their research.
But just to clarify, with the parts that timeToy had listed from parts.com (L/R mirror assembly & switch), some part swapping, and coding from PearlPower, we can enable folding mirrors on our 211's? Forgive me if I missed something

Anyone in Bay Area, CA that can help with this? I can get the parts I suppose, but the coding and such, it would be nice to pay someone to do it the proper way.

I'm doing installs. I went up there for installations before. Hit me up in a PM to discuss.

Older thread but good info.
I will be doing my install tomorrow when I get everything.
I ordered the following:
Mirror Switch 211-821-61-79-7C45 1 $90.48
Mirror Assembly 211-810-16-76 1 $332.88
Mirror Assembly 211-810-15-76 1 $332.88
Coding won't be an issue since I have STAR, and even saw that power fold mirrors last I played with it a month or so back.
The only info I didn't see what how the mirrors attach to the actual car body? I know how to remove the glass, and the first shell part. Should just be a couple hour install with most of the time probably spending removing the old mirrors, and putting together the new ones.

Which car? DIY would be awesome with lots of pics for us challenged wrenchers. This will be a nice upgrade. Anyone know what the cost of the option was?

This wasn't an option in US W211/W203 and others because the NHTSA didn't give their approval while US car makers got the green light for this back in the days.

Only drawback is the poor cable quality. Folding in and out will make the cables break. Each one. Just give it some time. I personally cut 3 inches out of all cables and replace them with high flex silicon cables before I install them. If you don't do it before the install you will have to do it later when they start failing to fold or turn signal fails or mirror glass adjustment motors fail.
