NAC Warranty No Longer Covering AMG vehicles

TIL that as of I don't know when, National Auto Care (NAC) is no longer writing new coverage for AMGs per a phone call I just had with them. I did a little searching and didn't find any mention of it here, but did see a post back in December from Bruce @ Beck's Imports that he's now selling AmTrust instead of NAC.

Strange, my credit union offered me a Rt 66 and I made sure the e55 was eligible. $600 premium fee, but it was covered.

NWC stopped covering the '05 E55s in 2012, I was the last one to get on the program (to my knowledge) - i think their limit is a 6 year old car. Should be able to cover an '07 E63 now

No, that's the purpose of the thread. They are no longer covering any AMG per the call I had with them. For example, they no longer write coverage for my 07 E63.

Holy ****! I just got mine yesterday from them on an '08 E63. The finance guy at the Toyota dealer told me they were balking at it and he told them to do it as they had sold him 2 others for AMGs in the past week. Sounds like I got one of the last ones. This was from the largest Toyota dealer in the Northwest, so he had some clout to get it through. Thank god!

Your Route 66 warranty does not cover the E55. It clearly states that AMG's are excluded. Was this offered through PenFed? I almost jumped on this warranty when I saw how inexpensive it was compared to the other warranties.

The premium fee is for the C & E Class, but AMG's are excluded from coverage!

Premium Vehicles
BMW (1,3&5 Series), Any V10, Mercedes (C&E Class), Volvo, Mini Cooper, Hummer, Cadillac, Hybrid

Excluded Vehicles
Audi, Corvette, Land Rover, Saab, Jaguar, Porsche, All Exotics, Mercedes (except C&E Class), Any Mercedes AMG Series, BMW Series 6,7,8,X,Z&M

Thats too bad. I have had my NAC extended warranty going on 2 years. They have not denied one item that needed to be replaced.
I have had the gas tank replaced, all seals, 2 fuel pumps, motor & transmission mounts, etc.... Never ever questioned anything.

Great experience with them.

I purchased it through Bruce & Becks Imports

That's what we're talking about - they're not writing any new AMG policies

Well, that's certainly confusing. I just grabbed my paperwork, and mine is NWC, and I was told they were stopping policies for AMG. The OP said NAC is also stopping AMG policies.

So, both ways: Effed.

This place is a joke.
Most, if not all, of these companies stopped writing policies on any V12 cars as well. Although they started that a long time ago.

Hmm that's too bad. Possibly it was my car that broke the camel's back? $3,800 warranty and $6,000 in repairs with 3.5 years left!

It is probaly all of ours. They replaced fuel pumps, an Airmatic strut and fixed something on my AC last year. No idea what it cost them, but I only paid @$2100 for a 4/50k.
