Windshield wipers recommendations?
Anyone go the non-oem route and happy with them? Something new and cool out there? I do like the oem, part#2118202145 is 35ea.

PIAA - Silicone Si-Tech - all I can say is yup they are a little more - but they glide as smooth and quiet as butter in a warm pan. I have had mine for 2 years and they are still 90% effective...
(and I live in Oregon - I think its something like we have rain 300 days of the year...)

+1 on the PIAA silicon wiper blades. I have several sets on a couple of my vehicles and couldn't be happier with them. They also seem to last quite a while too.

I have used Anco Contour Beam style on other vehicles, usually with a rebate, and quite pleased with them, especially in winter weather. I just bought a set for my E55 from RockAuto. I couldn't find any description of difference between the C26OE and C26SB (Contour SB), so bought the C26OE and have a easy $5 rebate per pair. ($16.14 for 2, + $11.10 Priority Mail = $27.24 minus $5 rebate = $22.24)
I keep RainX on my windshield, so I rarely need to use the wipers.

The Goodyear ones at costco and Wal-Mart are just as good as any. I have gone with the Bosche the Rain-X which are 15-20 a blade and the Goodyear are like 8 and are honestly quiter and wipe away just as good. They are also the natural curved ones.

Interesting. Looked at piaa ones to order online but not sure what model.
Either rainx or Bosch at autozone today. Maybe the goodyears now. Something is telling me to avoid rainx wipers.

I bought the Trico NeoForm wipers because they were recommended on here. VERY disappointed. First day of use and they are streaking. Waste of money, I will have to get the OEM's.
