\-\-\Kleeman 168mm+Kleeman Headers+BIP Tune/-/-/

Our customer came to us wanting a little more from his 125K mile beast, as he already had the Kleeman 168mm crank pulley and K&N filters. We opted for the Kleeman Headers, and it just goes to show that these two mods make big power.

Tony did his thing, and we ended at 459rwhp/530rwtq. Everything else on the car is 100% bonestock, including cooling.

Enjoy

Generally Kleemans add ~20 - 30 whp and LT headers 40 - 60 + whp....

I think you are exactly right about the typical hp gains. Not sure why I managed to get more. Maybe some of the guys with more knowledge can explain. All I know is I'm happy I went that route and happy with the job BIP did.

iv made almost 600whp on kleemann headers

kleemans with there down pipes and the first cats cut off and then have a shop fab the rest and you have a full blown long tube setup for half the cost.

+1 Stayed tuned for my dyno, BI is in the process of building a custom midsection to go with my Kleemann install. Will be interesting to see the gains vs. long tubes.

Yes, we cut the cats and installed kleeman down pipes. The last time jddumas e55 was tuned, was during the spring when the temps were up about 20*. That could have attributed to some of the cold weather gain we saw this time.

Either way, with such minimal mods, she is a strong one

Interesting Tell us more....I'd like to see something custom made for Kleemans all the way back to after the resonators....like a complete stainless bolt on....I'd be all over that...

ASP is making a 168 for me now, in the meantime BI will be able to make the midsection. It is going to be similar to chawkins setup minus the electric cut outs(Maybe he can post a pic of it) it looks great. Basically everything factory is coming out, right after the Kleemanns will be an x-pipe then straight to the resonator. Probably gonna do an intercooler and split the cooling as well. Coming from stock, I think this may wake the car up a little.

That's wishful thinking! Come out to the next EC dyno meet at Dito's hopefully in a few months. At least this time you will have a working I/C pump ;-)
