Dynamic Seats questions/problem
Hey Guys,
great forum!
as i just got my 03' E55, have few questions about those Dynamic Seats:
1.at first the seat fonction didnt work at all (except regular operating from doot bottons). after inspecting it my mechanic found the fuse was plugged off so he put it back in.
it start working properly, he discoverd one air bags in passenger side is leaking so order a new one (not yet arrived).
the thing is- the seats working properly but shut down after about 2-3 minutes.
is it some kind of "air pump protecting issue" or there might be another problem?
2.i noticed it has heat/cool bottons on dashboard and also heat bottons on rear doors, however once pressing any of those bottons- nothing happen- no heat/cool, no light to indicate its working, no error code on the screen- NADA.
after inspecting it my mechanic said it might be a fauls bottons and the seat doesnt have those heat/cool options especially as he said didnt find the "blowers" under the seats or any electric wireing for the ventilation system.
my question is- does the dynamic seats has a built-in heat/cool system or theres really a chance those seats dont have the option?
where should we look for the relevant parts for the ventilation system?
im asking those Q's as my car was imported from UK, the cars sold in HK didnt had those seats as far as i know.

If you are familiar with EPC-net you can plug in your VIN number and get the factory data card. That will tell you if your car came with dynamic seats originally or not.

The vin should be found in the windshield.
By the way, I assume those dynamic seats came with the car as I can modified them in the cluster dial menu.
Another (not related) question-
Is there a way to configure side mirrors to auto fold/open upon engine start/stop?
