2006 E55 for $16.5K

It has 117K miles, for sale by the original owner. No mods or accidents. Is this a good deal?

2012 Volt - 2005 E55 - 2011 G55 - 2013 GL63
I paid $22k last year for a 2005 with same mileage. But it did have pulley, Renntech CF intake, CF interior, HE, CF front lip, CF rear spoiler and of course it was white/pano and only missing keyless go!!!

So i would say it is a pretty good deal.

I don't know much about the options available on these cars, but it does have:

Sirius XM
Harmon Karden speakers
front & rear park assist
keyless door locking/unlockin
keyless engine start
automatic trunk closing

KBB listed private party at about $16,800 so I figured it was a fair price.

carefully check the history

and double check.. that seems awfully cheap. have the car well inspected before buying.

good luck!

This place is a joke.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Take it to an MB dealership for a PRE-purchase inspection. Shouldn't cost more than $200. A car that needs $4,000 of work or maintenance won't be such a good deal at that price. AMG's are hard sells, especially with over 100k miles. I've seen some E55's locally with over 100k go for around 14k. Unless this car is in excellent cosmetic condition, all services up to date, needing nothing, and some repair history, I think you have some room to negotiate the price down.

2014 cls63 a amg. 2018 AMG GTR
Pretty good deal but its really just fair market on the car. I got a 2005 with every option under the sun with 60K miles on it for $16,500 or $17,250 shipped from coast to coast. Mine did have a salvage title on it for being vandalized. No accidents just keyed and had interior trashed. Was all fixed before I bought it tough. I looked at these cars a LOT. Dealers were all around 18-19K for a 2004-2005 with anywhere from 70-90K miles. For me I really wanted to get one with lower mileage.

They do sell fast with low miles so you see one you really like grab it. Local sold an 03 with 69K miles and it only booked out at 14K. She sold it in one day for 19K. Condition and mileage= quick sale.

Great advise

Did a pre purchace inspection on a low millage 03 sl55 that was a "good deal" after recieving a $20k est he didn't buy it On the other hand milage does not alwise equal problems. If it was well maintained it will last a long time. My c43 and my ml55 both have around 200,000 mi on them and are in perfect running condition.

Checked out the car today. It was extremely clean and in great condition. I can tell the owner took care of it. He said MB has a stack full of records and he has never had to do any serious repairs.

This place is a joke.
The car is sitting low, has it been lowered or did the airmatic compressor take a dump? Again, PRE-purchase inspection.
