I believe that car has been in a front end accident. The passenger side headlight is significantly more clear than the driver side headlight.

1. Unless of course the previous owner cleaned the lenses and only did the passenger side.

2. Also it is possible the headlight was replaced, either way that would drive me crazy!

 

I'd change that headlight right away if it were mine. I could care less if my 9 year old used car had been in an accident, I'd guess many have by now whether the Carfax shows it or not. However if I can tell its been wrecked you can keep it, that's a sign that a hack shop fixed it.

I just noticed that you were not the OP here...so you bought the white car on ebay that the other guy was asking about? It is still listed on ebay you know! If that is the car you bought then I am really curious as to how much you paid, givin the minor discussion about reserve and such,...if you feel comfortable divulging that info.?

Taking delivery this week. Already signed the papers just need to move some garage space around. Mo' cars mo' problems! Haha. I also happened to see it on ebay before this thread.

I will divulge more info when it's in my hands. But I'm excited, first AMG for me! I have a cammed C6 Z06 so this will be my "slow" car

 

So you didn't see the car? I am praying for you that it is atleast close to expected...I mentioned in earlier posts and threads about my nightmare of looking at these cars from dealers. The private guys like us usually describe the cars pretty well and the couple that I saw privately were close to described but the dealer cars...not even close! Keep us posted.

 

If you see earlier in the thread I did go and see/drive the car in person. I then went back the following day to re-check it out as well. I tend to avoid dealers at all costs but this has been rather painless so far
