star lowering problem, pic inside

Just need some opinions on what to look for and what would cause this issue. The car is stock height and somehow the front passenger side has a voltage starting lower than the allowable amount. There is not codes on the dash, but obviously when lowering via star, it can't except because the voltage is way to low on just that one corner

OK you havw 2 options.
1. Raise the car up, then lower it. The saved height will be the height when the car is rasied. Now when to turn off the raised button the car will go lower.

or

2. You can lower it in confort and save the height and then when you are in sport 2 the car will go a bit lower. Now people will say sport 2 only changes the dampening of the shock (which is correct). But if you look closely the car will be a bit lower.

These numbers you see are when car is in comfort mode. I guess my only option will be to raise it with button and adjust from there. Anyone know why this problem would happen? This is on a flat garage surface also.

I guess ill do that when you send me my sds! This was a local trying to lower and it didn't work the way he normally programs it. So he suggested there may be an issue with suspension on that corners, although the car is solid and drives straight as an arrow. But I'm fine if I can make Tue adjustments while the car is in monster truck mode. I'll do whatever works to drop it.

This place is a joke.
The metal arm for the level sensor is probably bent- They are soft aluminum...visually compare them LF to RF and the distance from the upper arm. They can be bent in place by hand...no need to take off the wheel or jack up the car for this. If you drop it too low it will quickly wear the inside edge off all your tires.

I figure to put around 5k a year on the car. And I'm only looking for about 1" drop so tire wear, im not to worried about. Thanks for the advice on the arm. How can I get to it without taking wheel off. I'm a noob with the whole air suspension thing.

Just look in the gap between the tire and fender at the upper control arm...you'll see the sensor, arm, and bracket. You may have to put the suspension in raised mode to make it easier. If the arm is not bent then you may have a bad level sensor.

If it was a bad sensor would it throw error on dash though? I'll check tomorrow. Really appreciate the advice

I had a similar issue. The car is too low to save the setting you want. I bought drop links to correct the issue. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-E-C...4ae7ae&vxp=mtr

got my sds and tried a few things. I thought I would be able to trick that corner by lowering where I wanted it and then jacking it up to get correct voltage so settings would save . look good for a few seconds then car raised itself up to stock. it's gotta be the sensor I guess. I also tried lowering the car while in the raised setting but as soon as I start car it goes back to normal. I guess it's cheaper to buy lowering links just for that corner over a new . What a pita.

you can use a couple of washers on that corner

Well to get a decent drop with half finger gap will the washers work? gonna need around 1" for everything to match. btw shardul is the man for helping me out with the sds and pointers on this issue. when I get home from work I'll take the wheels off and mess with the sensor a bit. any input on why I can get settings to accept in the raised mode, and why when I start car and hit button to lower ride hight it just goes back,to stock? I researched and seems, alot of people lower in the raised setting and it gives them a nice drop when the hit the lower ride button after saving nee settings.
