Nice! Wish we could have gotten that side by side run in. You will definitely get to run the new setup.

Looks like fun, but when I saw slicks and gears all I can think about is the pictures from the E V12 car. Are you upgrading the driveline to handle the extra traction?

That picture explained my thoughts exactly, but that is the cost of doing business.
Good luck this year with your setup.

Nah, they are 28" slicks with a more forgiving sidewall. Drag radials are actually more harsh on the drive line due to their rigid sidewall. If you dead hook with a drag radial verse dead hooking with a full slick, the drag radial is more prone to cause damage.

I have a spare driveshaft anyway

Unless he sprays a huge shot the driveshaft will never look like that

They will fit brotha, just need to raise it up in the rear. They are the Hoosier Slicks 28" tall. Make sure you run at least 27.5" front runners to prevent the cel code.

Craig if you use a SDS to change your vehicles tires to a CLK BS you shouldn't get the CEL with stock front tires.

I'll have to look it up when I get home. I have tested it with my 28" hoosiers and my stock fronts, drives fine with no limp.
