We would like to welcome and invite all the AMG brothas to TimmayFest June 6-8 2013 in Columbus Ohio.

The basis behind Timmayfest is a fund raiser for the ALS Association, and all monies donated through T-Shirts purchases, sponsors, event registrations etc are put into this fund for our local heroes.

With that been said, the outline of Timmayfest is as follows:

• Dyno Day Friday Morning at IPS Motorsports $50
• Drag Evening at MCIR is $50 to Prepay or $60 on the day off
• Car Show at the Quaker State Quick Lube
• Police Escort to our Closing Dinner

It is highly recomended to pre register for dyno day and the drag events as soon as possible, so we know what we are looking at.

-This year BI-Performance is the lead sponsor at Timmayfest, so we will be offering custom tuning at the drag strip, hotel parking lot, and the car show, but we will not be tuning at IPS on the Friday morning when Dyno day is been held out of respect to them.
-We are also going to be making several trophies from Bimmer and Benz engine parts for the following categories:

• Drag strip trophies
• Burnout Competition at the drag strip
• Car show prizes
• Highest HP reading on Dyno Day

The winner of each category will have his name etched into the trophy and be able to hold it for a year. It will need to be returned the following year for Timmayfest 2014. This is a friendly competition, and hope to bring out the comradely between the bimmer and AMG guys without creating any negativity.

Let us know if you would like to see any other categories up there. Last year there were several hundred cars that showed up, so we hope to intice more this year, especially a good AMG contengency

Shortly, there will be official Timmayfest T shirts available for purchase, which will be listed on this thread.

The lone CL 55 is seriously considering a return to the scene of sin that is Timmayfest. Wonder if that dancer is still working in the Bar from Thursday night's excursion? Will need to get my current set of mods underway ASAP. Would not want to do anything but my best at the strip. .

Hopefully, this year, the Ohio State constabulary will not be as interested in me when I leave the dragstrip for a break. Despite repeated questioning I felt there was nothing to be gained by informing the kind officer of my exact speed that he only observed, but did not measure. No need to relinquish my right to remain silent. Ticket was cheaper than it would have been in Maryland, and no points. Sure did spook me for the rest of the weekend. J

without stepping on toes i know tim had this event to be exclusive to bmw and m/b. may want to check with him to avoid any hurt feelings during the event. ill be there for sure but will park away from the show if he wants
