Scumbag, Puke Lowlife dealer in Alex, VA...
called me last night and said my 03 e55 was in. No need to put down a deposit, they are my dealer. Got there this morning and the manager sold it out from under me. Gotta like that!!!

Sounds to me that the sales rep didn't clear the sale with the Sales Manager.
What was the car specs? Let me guess, it was either black or Silver with very few options. ASC routinely orders AMGs with those specs and then, sells them as "canceled order" cars. They tried to tell me the "my car" was in, back in June...Oh, you wanted silver right? Wrong bucko. I'll spec it fully when I want to.
Sorry to hear you got dicked by them. Too good to be true...sometimes is. Write the owner of the "family owned dealership." the only reason they added the Alexandria store is to get their Maybach dealership. Stir it up with MBUSA and the owners.

write a nasty letter to MBUSA and CC the General Manger/Owner of the dealer.
The owner will more than likely have to spend his time replying and begging to not loose any allocations.
