E63 DDM Foglight HID Install *pics
finally got around to this, pretty easy, took about an hour and a half...
here are the BMW E39 adapters for their fogs that i used on my E63. look closely and you can tell the tab i clipped off in order for them to fit.

here it is with the HID bulb in place with BMW adapter, note i used the o-ring from amg stock h7 holder and was still tight as hell, but used some grease on o-ring and went in like butter...

sealed it

here are the wires coming from the the ballast>error canceler>to stock amg H7 holder still used with it all for future ease of reverse install of stock h7's...
plus i didnt want to splice any original amg wires so this was the best way.

passenger side is a little tighter due to oil cooler, but you can attach modules to the cooler bracket..
now to switch out the headlights to a matching 6000k

i hope the ballasts hold up, i have ddm kits in my bmw 318ti for over a year now with no issues...
the sealant is gonna dry up to a clear color, and here in NJ dealing with all the snow and SaLt is a pita.. after having electrical issues on my dumptrucks due to terminals corroding with salt residue i will take no chances of running into electrical probs...
