Track Day
I will be taking my E63 out to the track this weekend if the weather holds. Curious to know from you guys that drag race your cars what are your steps that you take up to launch from the start line?

This is a sticky somewhere about all this stuff but Ill let you know what I did in my E55. Have the suspension in Comfort, put the car in sport mode for your transmission. Turn esp off for your burnout then I would turn it back on after. Not sure how much drag racing you have done but inch up to the line till you see the top lights light up. Then slowly move forward till the next row is lit now you are staged. Here I would double check to make sure your car is in 1st gear then left foot on the brake right foot on the gas. Give it some gas till you are around 1500-2000 rpm. On the third light let go of the brake and roll into the gas especially if you are on street tires otherwise you will break loose and wont run great times. That's about it in a nutshell. That would get me 1.8-1.9s at a ****ty track on bald street tires.
The best I managed stock was a 12.16 on street tires, if you can beat that much respect.

Hey thanks man. That is exactly the info I am looking for. It's been a LONG time for me at the drag track and I was looking for what is best to run these cars.
Why comfort and not sport 2?
I will let you know how I do.

Keep it in comfort and raised. It will help with weight transfer, and keep a flatter contact patch of tire and your car will lower itself the faster it goes.
Good luck!
