hesitation to accelerate
So with the temps hitting close to 60(or over) a bunch of folks from my local forum decided to go out and kick off car season in the Northeast yesterday.
During the cruise myself and an R8 V10 took off for a spirited run(about 80-140ish) and held it at the top for a little. When I finally let off and let the car cruise down to like 90mph when I gave it gas again it didnt accelerate. After about 5minutes of driving normal it seem to return to normal power again.
Has this happened to anyone else before? No warning lights, just seemed as if the gas pedal stopped reacting to me pushing. My gut tells me that with as fast as these cars heat soak, I may have just done that and the power was cutting out to keep it from damaging itsef?
What say you guys?

Sounds like your intercooler pump isn't running up to its full potential anymore. Mine used to do that when i first bought it. After the Johnson pump install, i can do as many pulls as i want without the SC shutting down.

definitely your ic pump ... mine was doing the same thing. tested the pump with STAR and it was dead, replaced it with a bosch 010 and all is well now.
