Has anyone extended a Chrysler Service Contract?
I have an extended warranty through Chrysler, and my warranty plan has about a year left on it. The thing is, I don't want to keep the car without a warranty, and I really don't want to have to sell the car for nothing and then move on to something else.
Has anyone with Chrysler Service Plan been able to extend their plan through Chrysler? I'm just checking before I call them and ask if I have any options.
Thanks

are you sure about this? i called my local chrysler dealer to get a quote, gave her the vin and she was able to offer me a 5yr/ 60k additional miles under a chrysler service contract. she even gave me 4 different quotes depending on the coverage i wanted.

They may take your money but it will be refunded when Chrysler refuses to send the written warranty. CSC stopped writing for all Mercedes models a few years ago. I have one on my GL450 and it is a great warranty. It covers more than the Mercedes extended warranty.

is there anywhere i can confirm this so that i do not waste my time with them? i just find it strange that she can type my vin in and approve it based on the vin.

Yes, same warranty. They never denied a claim. In fact, they replaced wheel bearings when the policy said it wasn't covered. I'm extremely happy with my warranty. It was a 4 year unlimited mileage. I put around 30k miles a year on my car. It already paid for itself with airmatic strut failures.

i apologize, you guys were right, i called Chrysler service contract directly and they informed me that they no longer do it for Mercedes. i then called the dealer back and they told me that they made a mistake. thanks for the heads up guys, glad i didnt waste my time with that.
