anyone using the dell d 630 for star?
Is this a decent latop to put together a dsd setup?Im downloading a 72gb image file now and says its for this laptop

Im waiting for a setup but I got mine off ebay and got a dell 630 laptop to go with it

what did you pay for your setup if you don't mind me asking

Used both a D630 and a T40.


The D630 had a little more HP than the T30, but was more finicky with the com port configuration.


Edit - I did clean installs of Xentry/DAS on both machines, did not use any prebuilt images... Both were WinXP installs.
