Terrible what happened in Boston today. Sickening to see the images and videos of the aftermath. What a sick person to target Innocent people. Prays go out to those who were there or have family or friends affected.

Having went to school in Boston, Marathon Monday was always very exciting for the city. Disgusting to hear this happened.

As I and my family and friends are all from/around the Boston area, I'm thankful that all the people i know that attended or raced are all safe and sound. I hope that all of our Boston brothers are safe and wish a speedy recovery for those injured and my most sincere condolences to those killed by this attack.

Maybe we should start letting the families of these people take out justice on these people that do this **** in their own way.
They should start with that school shooter and burn him to death with a torch from the feet up. At least when people do this **** they will be sure to die a painful death when they are caught.

Such a tradegy, prayers go out to all those affected. These type of things have been going in this country for a while now, carnage upon carnage. It really is enough, when will the tax payers hard earned dollars be used to prevent these types of crimes by our government instead of wasted. All the government does is react instead of preventing and protecting. As of right now, they dont even know who did it. Then they want to take away our right to bear arms, what a joke.

This reaks of home grown sick whack job... Someone who obviously wasnt hugged enough as a child. Reminded me of the Atlanta Olympic park bombing.
I had to pick a buddy up coming in from San Diego. There was no traffic driving in, and there were police cars on every overpass as I got into the city, when I got to the Fenway area, I could see helicopters just idling what seemed a few hundred feet above the ground

such a sad day here in boston,my close friends were right there as they run track for school and were lucky to survive this attack.They were at the finsh line helping people giving them waters and such.
I hope to god the people behind this get theres 10x

There is NO better day to visit Boston and Massachusetts. As a student in HS I tried to go to the sox game every year, as a college student I parked my *** in any of the local bars... It is a unique atmosphere, second to none.
So much goes on in and around Boston on Patriots day... At 5am on Lexington Green a reenactment of the battle of Lexington green begins, as the British are driven back there are other battle reenactments that happen in other towns as well. Paul Revere even rides a horse from old North Church... Pretty crazy.
Then once all of the history is done, the Marathon starts in a town in the middle of no where. The route and road closures are terribly inconvenient but its ok cause everyone knows... It's the marathon. You watch the start, and then you turn on the baseball game... It's just a big party that everyone's invited to

They have a 20yr old Saudi national in custody who is here on a student visa. There is also video footage of said individual with 2 backpacks in the area, then no backpacks. he is in protective custody at the hospital from burn wounds. This type of stuff goes on overseas all the time. When you visit certain countries, you don;t have to worry about being pick pocketed or raped...you have to worry about a car or building blowing up. It has now come to our doorstep fellas.

The opinionated writer of that column has no ****ing idea what he is talking about. Most of the public and media have no idea what really happens behind closed doors and it is for a reason. Don't you think if we disclosed all of our "ways to do business" it would be harmful to our national security? The FBI and other agencies save our asses on a daily basis, it is pitiful and unAmerican when fools who have no idea point a finger at them and try to place the blame. I salute all the "behind closed doors" workers who do their job and do it well even with the ridicule from media and ignorant humans.
