License plate light covers?

Just gave the E55 a wash and looked up where the tag lights sit and, although the light bulbs are there, there are no covers or lenses to protect them. I assume there WERE covers at some point? Anyone happen to know the Part Number? I ask because I have new LED versions in route and I'm sure they'd be much happier not getting drilled with water and the elements.

Thanks!

Which LED ones did you purchase? I also have LED tag lights that replaced the whole housing and the lense cover. Bright as all hell.

Mine has two plastic covers over the bulbs but I want to say they are an integral part of the bulb mount also. probably why some LED's come as a whole assembly.

Hey by the way, welcome to the E55 club! I post over on Genmay, although very rarely these days. I think we met a few years back at Gainesville, I had a procharged 383 LT-1 Transam at the time.

Grabbed these to try. We'll see how they hold up. I may have to cut some Lexan or something. No way I'd trust them out in the humid Florida weather, let alone all the damn rain here.

And Jaxe55; small world man. I was at that meet. I brought the Lightning at the time. Sadly enough I'm STILL on Gen[M]ay trying to relive the days of the past. So many good times on that site.

Hey man, those bulbs you linked to wont fit for the tag lights. It should be a festoon type bulb, not a t-10 base bulb.

LOL sorry guys, I'm a tard. I ordered those for the CITY LIGHTS, and posted the link. I have festoon style coming for the plates. Still need a cover though.
