srs warning light
I've got the message in my dash. hooked it up to sds. says driver airbag ignition Squib 1 resistance to high. I checked connectors under seat. erased message, but comes right back on. I found that there is a service bulletin for 05-06 e350. You think it would apply to 05amg? otherwise ide like to fix myself if I knew where the bad connection is.

Had this light on in my car for over a year. At first they thought it was a bad clock spring but in the end I needed a new airbag. They were unable to find one from a salvaged car and a new one they told me was $2000 with the install or something crazy like that. One of the reasons I sold the beast.

Damn.... that's crazy... Well I guess I may let the dealer diagnose. apparently there is a bad connection on a plug some place that can cause the problem. the dealer would fix no charge if that was the problem if it was an e350 according to the tsb. so it's worth a shot that maybe they will fix.

brought my car to dealer and had them look up the vin. sure enough there is a service bulletin in the computer for the problem. just like the sbc issue you get 10 years 100k miles for the fix. they have an updated plug and harness that should remedy the issue. crossing my fingers that this will be covered and it won't be something else causing .
