E55 Cooling options? need quick response
Okay summer is here I dont want to go through a next summer going into limp mode everytime after two WOTs, so i think its time for proper cooling.
If I dont order today I might hold off again.
So Id just want the updated parts list. Last time i looked into it the best thing was a Intercooler of some sort and bosche pump... Did i remeber correctly?
Or have things changed?
Part descriptions and part numbers would be greatly appreciated!

Where do you live? That will depend on how much $ you need to spend. Summer months in many states don't get TX and FL like of hot/humid.
For most people, an upgraded H/E and upgraded pump is enough. Like the EC HE and Johnson or Bosch pump combo, you can't go wrong and is plenty for a street car that's in a semi-hot state.

It looks like you're in Canada, does it really get that hot during the summer? and by hot I mean over 90?

Back to topic , I also just ordered an intercooler. It double the size of the stock and will be getting Bosch 010 pump and my upgrades would be just a S/C pulley. So based on that I should be good. I am not sure what your upgrades would be.
Yes in Canada, Toronto after 3-4 wot car does go in limp mode. We have seen 32-42 Celsius
