Recently had the windows tinted and figured it was a good time to visually introduce myself to the boards. Formerly Komp55's machine, I intend to perfect what he started. Enjoi.

Tint info: Huper Optik 50%
(100% tinted: full windshield + sides + rear + sunroof)

I don't know why the pictures won't embed, if someone could detail a fix/workaround I'm all ears. Evidently Flickr and MBW don't play well together.

Thank you sir May I ask how you posted/embedded those photos here? I've posted the same way on every other forum and it works every time, just not here

I take it you can get that kind of tuck only with a lowering module and not through the STAR method + washer method?

that is THE most beautiful E55 I've ever laid eyes upon.

If it were mine the only thing I would add are E63 tails + a/f rear diffuser

You my friend seem to be the rare exception on the tint opinion. It's light enough @ 50% to keep from being mistaken for a drug dealer, while the metallic nature of the brand meshes well with the Mercedes blue sport glass. Looks factory, only better...not to mention it's actually funtionable. If I'd have gone any darker, the glass would appear dark purple (like an older, sun-bleached tint job) which is what I was trying to avoid.

I LOVE the tint -- looks awesome and the interior maintains a comfortable temperature...a win-win so-to-speak

True. The car is equipped with a Renntech RCM which gives you the ability to alter ride height settings on-the-fly.

Agree. OEM+ is the way to go!

Yea I'm a huge fan of 5-spoke wheels anyway, always a fresh look.

Thanks! We must have the same taste...those are the only two aesthetic mods I've planned beyond what's already done. I expect to complete this look by summer's end.

Wes-

How do you like the car? Do you miss rowing? I'm m5board member, cortinas78. I'm thinking about adding an E55 to my garage. Yes I will keep my M. Do you have a list of things to look for when buying an E55? I have searched this forum and have compiled my own list but, I thought I'd ask based on your acute attention to detail.
