E92 M3 kill
Had several runs, which really emphasised heatsoak on the latter runs. From a roll, I was able to reasonably comfortably catch up (From starting 2 or 3 behind) and fly off into the sunset. The vid above is a good dig example. But wow, the last 3 runs from a roll, were really close....like...1 car length in it. I've heard of you guys all talk about heatsoak from beating on the motor, but I never thought it could get as bad as to making comfortable runs, turn into 3 neck and neck rolling runs.
Time to consider a killer chiller thing, or intercooler? I want the 'cold engine' style of power and response to be more readily available, especially in those street ricing moments.

^^^ I guess he was....was weird man. We had two rolls (I was behind in both of them) and caught up then overtook strongly and a couple from a dig, this was one of them. He's a friend, so it's not like it was a stranger and he didn't know the score. My car is near enough stock (k&n, ported stock tb, exhaust boxes). But like I said, on the latter races, it was really close and my engine heat could be felt inside the cabin ...was cray.
