I've narrowed down my search and I was hoping to learn something new yet again.

Other than Auto Trader and Ebay, where else are you guys looking for used cars? I tried CL and the people who are listing there are on drugs. I see things like 2003 E55's with 117K miles for $28K. Lol.

Any input on a good source for used cars?

CL, you just have to weed out the idiots. I have found all of my cars on CL. Cars.com maybe?

I used a combination of sites to find me 05 E55. Craiglist, Autotrader, Cars.com and this site. I found the level of delusion to be about equal across all sites. One major annoyance I will note is the number of supposed motivated sellers who could not be bothered to answer e mails or calls in a timely fashion. Eventually my car came from Autotrader but I did get close to a car on Craigslist that was very reasonably priced.

For what it's worth there are 2 e55's at Carmax right now... "champagne" 2003 with 38,000miles for 22,9 and a "burgundy" 06 with 49,000 miles for 29,9. With a Maxcare warranty up 125,000 the 03 would be a steal for the price.
WARNING: 03 has chrome wheels.

i goto the mbusa.com too - just another spot if you are looking for a lease return or trade - i found my 55 on ebay and 63 on auto trader - looked daily on the usual suspects - cars.com, cl in all the major hubs in each state - i got pretty picky while i was looking for my wagon

I saw this... Looks like a good price for the low miles. I would pay them extra if they took that hideous wrap off. The car is silver underneath. Look at pic 4, you can see the wrap coming off the side skirt. Looks like a shotty job too. But overall a deal at $32K?
