Just Tuned The E55...
Installed my S/C and my H/E + pump Yesturday, Felt a little something from the pulley ( maybe in my head ) did a few 40-140 pulls felt a little quicker.
Today I decided to flash the car with the EC software, Flashed it -
Impressions - Car feels SMOOTHER - My car use to have like a uneasy idle at time etc, all gone feels good. Driving around normally the car revs easier .
On WOT the car isnt faster. I did back to back 40-140 pulls didnt feel a diffrence before and After at ALL ! It almost feels can i say... a bit more sluggish. This all might be in my head ! Not sure.
Ill know the Truth Sunday when I do a few pulls with my buddies cars that Ive raced MANY MANY MANY times before, We are pretty Even, So im expecting to pull on him with the Tune.

By s/c , I'm guessing you mean S/C pulley ? H/E does not give you extra hp it just allows you to keep on doing that 40-140 pulls many times without ECU cutting the supercharger off and killing the fun.
You put in a smaller S/C pulley and did the runs without flashing the ECU file ? that is very dangerous!!
I got the same thing and I felt a huge difference after the tune alone. Once I got the S/C pulley installed it just took everything to a next level.

if it didn't make a difference than something is wrong with your car...
The tune should be night and day....
Check your air line as suggested as you are probably heat soaking

Over the weekend installed 010 pump, 
Shardul S/C pulley
, Belt Wrap Kit
, and 3 piece pulley
, also had E/C tune and had jerry make two files one with the S/C pulley and other with headers next week the kleemanns arrive, as well as Dads trunk tank and H/E. Car car feels like a whole new animal LOVE IT! Big Thanks to Jerry
and Shardul Now it feels like I need the Quaife installed 
Got it sitting in the shelf got it from jerry a while back still gotta gather all the correct seals and bearings to get the job done or just replace em' while the car is apart. I feel like the tune made a huge difference, coupled with the Shardul mod package=very happy sorry for the rant

Just came back from a Little Run , Car MAYBE feels a bit quicker I cant tell to be honest.
Im pretty sure I bleed the Pump well, I bleed it from the nipple on the line going from the Passenger side down to the Pump... it had air, i put a clear hose to it and ran it till no more bubble just fluid came out.
Yes I was sent the map, I picked the performance map, it went to 100% loaded. I turn the key off for 10 sec stated it up and was on my way.
My buddy has a Built 300zx with upgraded turbos etc, he Pulls about a CL on me when I was stock - im hoping to reverse that on sunday lol.

I might be feeling this way maybe because on my previous car (335i) a Tune alone with Downpipes and front mount IC Gave me 100WHP + 120WTQ and it was a REAL kick in the pants !
The car is driving diffrently and smoother thats for sure ! Not sure about 50whp faster though lol

If it makes you feel any better, I installed, Long tube headers, 82 MM TB. 185mm pulley, killer chiller, injectors and initially didnt think it was much faster after a few pulls. 
later when I drove it more I realized how much more of a beast it was. Still desperately needs a dyno tune over the canned custom tune. someone with similar mods to mine said he gained 70 WHP going to dyno tune. Canned tunes have to be pretty conservative with the a/f so they dont blow your motor.

I installed a H/E & I/C pump a few weeks ago and I felt a difference because I think the old pump was going out. A few days later, I had the car tuned @ EC. The difference post-tune was very noticeable and I'm running stock pullies.
