SOS Tel-Aid Malfunction - Visit Workshop

Been getting this error message. Searched and nothing found.

Any ideas how to shut that system off??

This place is a joke.

Don't remember 100% without going through STAR myself, but...look in your IC (instrument cluster)/control unit adaptations/read coding and change if necessary/tele-aid (change to not-present)

If that doesn't do it also do the same for CGW.

If you have an MB phone system/bluetooth puck check to make sure it still works after these changes.

Control Units > Body > CGW (Central Gateway) > Control Unit Adaptations > Read Coding and Change if Necessary > Telecommunications > Telematics Service “Tele Aid” in combination with MOST technology

Change the coding from PRESENT to NOT PRESENT

Mine just popped up with this. I'm assuming the star system is one which would plug into the car not something I can do from within the car?

SOS Light on SLK 320

Light is on and won't go off in a SLK 320 2003 , Drains the Battery down . Well the battery go dead if it set a couple of days. HELP
