Molding Carbon Vents

SO! If I were to try and have my body shop mold carbon fiber vents to the w211 E63 front bumper..

What do you guys think would be a better fit?

The CL Vents? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mercedes-W21...94a4ed&vxp=mtr

OR

The C63 Vents. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CARBON-FIBER-SIDE-AIR-FENDER-GRILL-VENTS-FIT-FOR-BENZ-W204-C63-AMG-05-11-/171034770288?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27d2777b70&vxp=mtr

Good luck those are nearly paper thin. How do I know? I will post up pics shortly. My body guy how is super talented and can do just about anything said no to me so we cut them up and used them as inserts. I used CL63 ones to trim down.

As you can see the CL63 ones are a little to large, not to say C63 ones are the same but I assume they are very similar.

Trimed down for use as insert:

Ordered the JL ones and they are perfect fit but only as an overlay, they do not bulge out like the C63 vents.. also 3x the price at $299

The fitment is PERFECT but they literally lay flat onto the bumper and not bulged outward like the c63 vents

They're $300!!! I emailed him asking for a discounted price (forums and such) He replied with $280, when I responded for the coupon code or whatever was necessary to get that pricing he stopped answering.. Emailed them a few times, to no response.

Tell me about it, i'll post pics when it's all done.. hopefully it'll be worth it.

Gonna try and figure out a way to have the vents bulge out like the C63 or SL65
