Rear control arm bushings
Does anyone know if the rear contol arm bushings on a w211 with airmatic can be replaced seperately?
Dealer says because the rear lower control arm is made of aluminium MB do not make a bushing for it and you have to buy a whole arm.
if there is a bushing that fits im sure it could be pressed in?
if anyone has a part number for a bushing that will fit it would be appreciated

bit of false economy buying a used arm as you never know how long it will last and what condition the bush is.
ordered a new one from the dealer, booked into the shop next week, tyres go on this weekend so needed it done before it ruined another tyre!

2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon AWD 4-Matic
what exactly do you mean by 'rear control arm'.
There is a Tension Rod (Part No. 230 350 35 06 - Left and ...230 350 36 06 - Right
Thrust Arm (230 350 20 06) - one ea. for left and right
Track Rod Left (230 350 03 29)
Track Rod Right (230 350 04 29)
I have similar tire wear issue and want to know how it was determined to change which part for tire wear. I'd rather not spend all the money for wholesale R&R of Tension rods, thrust arms and and track rods.
My issue is inner tire wear in the rear of 2005 E320 Wagon 4-Matic with 100k miles. I have painstakingly kept the car aligned and tire air pressures maintained. My feeling now is rear suspension is loose and tire wear bad - but no obvious worn out bushings, etc.
Thanks for any input.
