Has anybody shipped their car to Kleemann in CO to get work done?

After all the horror stories about bad installs etc. I figured it'd be best to just ship my car over to Kleemann in CO and have Cory/Kleemann team do the install and dyno tune the car. These guys have been doing it for several years and know what they're doing - why take the risk? Plus, dyno tuning to each individual car is best.

How many people have done this? Any issues?

Thanks!

i know some people have sent them directly to CO and have been satisfied with the results. I haven't heard of any issues working directly with Kleeman but i haven't been on the board for about a year, until i purchased my E55. I am lucky I live in CO so if i decide to do the upgrade I am about a 45 min drive away.

I just scheduled mine to go in June 26th. I live in Denver so I'm fortunate location wise. I'll update after she's dialed in and let you know about my experience.

I agree you won't have any problems with Kleemann, but talk about a waste of money to ship a car to them, I'm not sure what risk you're considered you'll be taking otherwise. There are plenty of great shops out across the country. Where do you live?

I shipped mine. Worth every penny to me, and the results exceeded my expectations.

I live in Washington, DC - downtown. There are some shops in the Northern VA area, but I'm just not sure I feel comfortable with anyone except Kleemann doing the install, too many horror stories.

Do you guys know of any reputable shops in DC? I can't seem to find many, other than Benz Elite Automotive in NoVA.

I think it'd be worth it considering you know it's being done by the people who've been around the product several years and they can dyno tune exactly to each car's reaction to the mods.

I don't know, maybe shipping it is too much - figure what better way than to have the Kleemann guys do the install and dial in on their dyno then ship it back ready to go.

5280CLS55- I'd love to hear the experiences you have after you get your car back ...
