Oil problem that I need Resolved

Car : 2003 e55 AMG w/ 64k miles

Day One : Leave work, getting up to speed on the road I notice smoke, pull over/turn off car. Pop hood to find oil all over drivers side of bay and engine cover. Get towed home.

Day Two : Replace valve cover gaskets, and everything seems better. Drove 20 problem free miles. Then do a 1-2 pull on my street, pull in driveway to find oil everywhere that it was before.

Day Three : Seek help from you

Yes and Yes. Completely dry around cover. Zero signs of leakage. Underside of hood is also soaked, looks like whatever it is sprayed upwards big time. Other then blowback oil was centralized to on top of drivers side air box, power steering fluid jug, and coolant jug.

I would try to clean it real good and have a friend rev a motor couple times while you're looking at it and see what you can find

Any leaks from oil filter housing or lines leading to oil filter housing?

Good luck finding a dyno operator that is going to willingly let you strap down a car that pisses oil out when under pressure.

Go to an auto parts store and buy an UV leak detection kit. You can add an oil safe dye to the motor and run it and check for leaks. I'm willing to bet its from the oil filter housing or the lines that run to the top of the housing.

Remove and inspect your oil filter. If you have a cheap non fleece MB approved filter, there is a chance it could be clogged or collapsed causing serious oil restrictions.

Sounds like it could be the oil filter housing. There are 2 lines attached to the front of it. Have you determined its engine oil and not power steering fluid? GL man.

If you had your oil changed recently, it could be from the oil filter assembly as already suggested. It is easy to get that O ring bound up and out of position.
