SRS Light
Hey Guys,
I got a SRS light for past week and ran my STAR to read the fault codes. Fault code was 9103 and did some researching on the forums. Apparently this is a safety issue MB has out on all 05-06 models that is covered under 10year/100k warranty. I just dropped off my car so let's see what happens. Just want to give you guys a heads up if you currently have this problem

Yeh same happened to me a month ago. I tried erasing through star and it came right back. Brought it to dealer and told them about the tsb. They ended,up charging me diagnostic and said after they erased the code it never came back... but I'm under the assumption they actually fixed the wire issue in the steering column with the updated one, and charged me diagnostic to screw me. In the end all is well though haha. They had the car a whole day so I knew something was up. And I got a 2013 c300 loaner. Def. Seemed way cheap compared to my e.

I told him the fault code and that fault code falls under the "warranty" so I told him I am not paying lol. My light never went away so let's see

My code was under the tsb also, still got shafted cuz they said there was no problem. I'm just glad the light is gone. I ended up bsing with the loaner service manager and now I got a hook up for side jobs when my car has issues, so it worked out pretty good in the end.
