My offer still stands. Nobody will pay 850 incomplete when new is a fraction more.

One more time you will not buy new headers for 700. If you do think rhatbisbfair show me where they have sold for that before to prove " market value"

Even with the downpipes they are not bolt on the the resting the exhaust , welding is required.

I have Kleemans, you aren't telling me anything I don't know. What you are failing to take in to consideration, someone buys these from you and wants to have them installed with a downpipe section, they now need to buy flanges which cost money, they then need to have a shop make the pipes that cost money (material) and labor and THEN do the welding to the rest of the exhaust. This all comes out to what a savings of $50 off buying them "new" from a dealer? Then if something cracks they call you for a replacement? I am guessing no right? So it isn't worth paying $50/$100 less from you with missing parts, no warranty.

Well when a used set with no downpipes goes for 810, I don't see how 700 is fair.
I don't need to sell these , and never thought I would have to defend them like this. I guess I'll just hold onto them.

Good idea. The ebay auction was the barometer. I'm going to buy new for 149.00 more. The labor to make the downpipes would be a wash.

Quit talking about it and do it then. Then pay someone to chop up your factory exhaust/ cats and weld on the downpipes. Personally I don't use the downpipes for that reason , to keep the factory exhaust one, in storage due to their high cost if I ever need to out them back in the car.

I'm just an unbiased opinion here and URB made the best point of all...when and/or if they crack there is no warranty and missing parts so they are not complete. The biggest issue here is that you keep going by what another set on ebay sold for. I do a lot of ebay and the 2 scenarios are this...either the seller bid them up and they are not really sold anyway or he luckily found a guy who is NOT on this forum and has no idea of what he bought and doesn't know prices! It happens everyday on ebay and it's real simple...put them on ebay and I am pretty sure that they WILL NOT sell for more than $750! This is my opinion of course but I do deal in a few older cars and actually sell a few parts here and there. I hope you get as much as possible but I explained in an earlier post that I would pay the extra money to have warranty and all the parts...I would pay $200 more for piece of mind and convenience of having everything I need from Kleeman. Good luck with them and keeping them doesn't really seem like an option...what on earth would you keep them for? Sell them for whatever you can get.

It is pretty obvious that these headers are priced too high. If they were priced right they would of already sold. Whenever Kleemans are listed here on the forum they sell quickly. Yours havent yet because the price is just too high. Everyone is trying to say that in the nicest way possible. Lower the price and they will sell.

all the bull*#%$ about pricing aside. I have bought stuff from shifter before. Items were as described and shipping was prompt.

Is this the price-police strip search? If you don't like his price, make an offer.
As for the warranty, forget it. Mine cracked and Kleemann would not do anything for me other than a small discount on a new set. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

This.

Asking what he's doing with the money too, was that a joke? Maybe he's selling them for the dealer? Either way it's not anybody's business. The man can ask any price he wants.

Haha. Remember I said I would keep them for 700. So no, I didn't.
Guys that think they can pickup a new set for that will have their stock logs for a very long time.

I am just curious if you actually got what you wanted or if you came down in price after all. I am going to guess you came down in price or you wouldn't have made a deal about it when asked and threw it in our face instead that you sold them for $850 or whatever.
