Anyone know where I can source a new rear SAM for my 05 E55?

 

I just brought one from the dealer... They go for $454.00 new. Why do you need a new one?

 

Im having problems with the third brake light, the right license plate light (both of which I replaced - and nothing) and the cruise control. I was told here that it may be the rear SAM.

I replaced the brake switch and the cruise did not work.

Any thoughts before I buy a SAM?

 

You check your grounds back there really well?

 

yes, I traced all the wiring to make sure nothing was cut, wrapped them in a protective sheath, checked all grounds and nothing.

still just those three problems, brake light, license plate light and cruise.

Does it sound like the SAM?
