I found a white 03, w 73k miles on it. they are asking 18,995.

From carfax it was a 2 owner and seems to have been sent to the shop for regular maint etc.

What do you guys think?

I think that price is high for an 03. Make sure you get your own PPI if you are seriously considering the car.

 

I did offer 15,750 to start. See how that goes. They are aonly about 3 hours away from me so I can get a look at the car. I wish it was a bit closer as I'd have my MB shop (friends w/ owners) take a look at it.

 

If the car has no problem in PPI it could easily sell at ask price because it is white, the most sought after color for an E55.

 

I agree. In addition, forum members always seem to feel the price is too high because they pay attention to whatever car they're enthusiastic about and saw one cheaper somewhere else another time. In the end, shop around and buy whatever car works best for you. And +1 on the PPI so you have a good idea of what youre getting.

 

I think the price is perfect. You will walk away with it around 17,500-18k

 

Cars at that age/mileage are they able to be warrantied?
