Nice Chill -- I really like that color. Did you ever get a response to your question about upgrading the HK system? I would like to do the same thing.

Doesn't seem like anyone is interested in adding an amp and subs. The Logic 7 HK system is pretty good though.

Oh I plan on gettin a custom set-up..that is why I didn't opt for the h/k system upgrade. I plan on upgrading both front and back speakers and hopefully adding a custom set-up in the trunk. I still have to think of how I want to set it up. Prolly end up gettin 2 10 W7's I think.

Actually I'm considering ripping the entire system out south of the head unit and upgrading from there. I'm just trying to find someone I trust enough to do the work, 'cause I KNOW it won't be simple.... I want to maintain the Logic 7 processing but I have the feeling that's going to mean dealing with the EQing that was done for the stock speakers which will surely sound like hell when applied to a different system. Have you found anything out Dr. Chill? I'd think a sub upgrade would be the easiest to do.

Dr. Chill,
Looks like a golf course community, IBIS, PGA National, Ballen Isle, etc. Am I correct?

What dealership did you get yours from?

My dad lives in Lake Worth area (Atlantis to be exact) and is expecting his 03 E55 in a few weeks from Gulfstream (or Mercedes of Palm Beach as its called now) - he can't wait!!

I was first on the list at MB of PB (Gulfstream) until I spazzed out and switched to a 2004 only to switch back a couple of months later. The dealer has taken good care of me before but their service dept is overwhelmed due to the rapid increase in volume over the past few years. They are very close to closing on some land for another dealership in my backyard-Palm Beach Gardens. That will be very sweet.

Not a golfer. Work too many hours during the week to devote half a day off to be away from the kids. I used to shoot in the upper 90's 10-15 years ago but haven't played more than a few times in the last 10 years.

Check the link in one of the first pics. I'm not trying to hide anything from my fellow enthusiasts.
