Looking for E55. Questions on Options....
Alright this is kind of a couple part question here. First of all i'm looking to find a list of the many options that came in this car. I believe I found a sticker with the option codes on a car i'm looking at and would like to match it up. The dealer has almost no idea about the car at all so i'm on my own on this one. Here is a picture I snapped :
I think those are the codes but i'm not sure, it's the only plate I could find that resembled the one in my Z06.
Also, since there are just so many options, i'm wondering exactly what ones are most important. As in, which ones could you not give up? One's your cars have that aren't even important? Ones you wish you had gotten? I am kind of addicted to having the cooled seats, parktronic, window screen, and Pano roof. However this is turning out to be very hard to find. So i'm thinking of giving up on everything but the cooled seats. I know they don't work the best but i'm willing to modify them with the larger fans. The pano roof looks really nice but not sure if I really need to have that either.

I didn't know keyless go was an option. Every one i've seen has had it so far. The one I drove had it but i'm not sure it was working properly. I hit the start button but the nav screen flashed a quick error (I wasn't able to read it before it disappeared) and the car didn't start. Maybe the key's battery was dead.

I know a couple that I looked at had a faulty KeylessGo sensor. On one of the cars, it would pop up while you were driving with a key not recognized error, and other times it just wouldn't work and you had to start it the normal way.

I don't have Pano and didn't want it. Extra weight on an already heavy car.
I'm very happy with the options and exactly what I wanted equipped with an 06.

Well theres my problem right there. I know I didn't have my foot on the brake. And the guy showing me the car had no clue how anything at all worked. He didn't even know it was supercharged or what engine was in it at all. I think I told him more about the car than he even knew and I don't know much myself.
I think i'm pretty happy with the options in this one I found. Might hold out a little longer to see if I can get Park/Distronic. Otherwise maybe i'll go back for another look. It seems these don't move very often so i'm sure it's still there.
