-How is the transmission holding up at these power levels?
-Have you had to modify the transmission at all?
-Will your completed project and kit include transmission work?
-If not in the transmission, where is the "weak link" in the drivetrain?
-Will the AWD 2014 model be able to cope? (oh dear lord I hope so).
Thanks!
We actually did a test on our Mustang dyno..we have both a mustang and a dynojet. People always assume we use the dynojet because it reads higher and that simply isnt true. We actually use it because the Dynojet is more consistent.
Here's a funny but honest video of what to look out for when using dynos like the mustang and dyno dynamics where calibrations can make HUGE differences in how must power it records on the dyno.

The transmission is holding up fine but we do see a need in the future for improvements and we are already hard at work on some really nice upgrades.
I don't believe our completed kit will include any transmission work but possibly further packages beyond that will. We do think that a built motor will also be needed if the envelope is continued to be pushed but we are already almost done with that program as well

The 2014 4matic should not be a problem. We have done some research and I think the system will be fine but time will tell. We do have a 2014 4Matic E63 and a CLA45 on order from our dealer and hopefully both will be here more sooner than later.

You are planting seeds and you might get a nice harvest down the road. I'm interested in both of these cars!
