Get yourselves some 3M 06397 black molding tape and some adhesive promoter. The carbon fiber will break before you will be able to pull the diffuser, or any other body panel, off. It is a bit more expensive than the grey tape, but well worth it, if you want the piece to stay attached.

I should have all the diffusers delivered to our San Diego location the first/second week of September.

I will then personally QC and pack all of them for shipment.

Promise to work non stop from QC to tracking number for you guys.

Thanks for the patience!
Promise to let you guys know as soon as they arrive here.

Here, I'll restate what has been said. Tal will have them in San Diego the first or second week of September. So that would be 9/14 before we've gone past any time frame given.

For those that seem to think that people don't have the right to ask for an update. IT'S JUST A COURTESY UPDATE REQUEST. Some people have been burned by companies for all sorts of reasons. A quick update gives customers reassurance that things are still in order and whether there will be a significant delay or on schedule production. I am not saying that ACG did not do it's part in replying, and I thank you ACG for your reply. That is all that was needed.

You have 45 days to file a claim with PayPal. You're already out of time in that regard, the exception is if you used a personal credit card which you can file a claim with.

Lol some people need to relax. As stated it was a courtesy update request. No one is mad or is at an unrest. As a customer you have a right to ask. As a vendor you have a duty to keep customer informed when they ask. No one is asking otherwise other than just a quick update. At least from me.

ACG is a reputable shop and dont think I will get screwed over. Everyone wanted a groupbuy for this diffuser for a less price than usually priced at. We got that, and now its just a waiting game. Is it worth the wait? I believe so. Just like my MBH headers, they were worth the wait. You guys need to remember that most vendors dont stock items in large supply, so will need to be made and making 35 or so diffusers arent going to be fast. I'd rather have quality vs rush to make to please those who cant be patient and wait.

Exactly. When they're done they're done. However I was thinking the same thing someone brought up earlier.. Why do they all need to be done and shipped at once? Im assuming they only make one a day, and don't want to hassle with boxing and packaging every day, but why not in batches of 5 or 10? I'm personally not in a rush and don't care if mine is the last one but the others that paid first and are anxious to get theirs should be able to get their order filled.

Couldnt agree more. I am part of the first 10 that paid. So would think that 10 should be made by now. Have those sent out to ACG and get inspected for QC, then shipped to those 10 first. Then the second batch, etc.

One of the likely reasons they were able to get the GB price down so low was to consolidate the freight. ACG's supplier most likely figured out the cost to ship these as one shipment and figured that into the price they were able to offer. If they start sending multiple shipments, then their final cost increases.

Boy are you guys misinterpreting a simple question. It does not mean we want to rush them. It does not mean you don't trust them. As a prosumer, it is good practice to check on the company offering a product you have already purchased. It does not hurt the business when you ask for status of the said product. When the company replies or keeps a updated status on said product, consumer to company relationships get better. Just as some of you who may have ordered a new AMG, you are able to check on it's progress, and shipping and arrival time. Just because it's a $500 vs thousands, should not change your way of keeping companies accountable to customer service. It is not about being impatient, it's about management and accountability of your transactions. Business owners, and managers know this very well. Your always checking on manufacturers, other vendors, shipping, and or staff on progress. The transaction does not start with selling a product and end with exchange of funds. It starts with communication and ends with communication far after the sale is done.

Now Am I excited, YES! Am I rushing them? NO! IS ACG a good vendor, yes and I feel bad that they have now become a part of this little debate over a simple status update. You guys need to relax and don't blow up a matter that isn't really a big deal.
