"After closing all payment will be submitted directly to EuroTeck. After all payments have been received please expect 4-6 weeks for delivery on all products".
Payment is sent through PayPal directly to Eurotek and it sounds like Tal will let us know where to send payment after close on Friday.

This is a clear indication (to me at least) that there is still a lot of pent-up demand for parts for the E55 platform.
It's encouraging to see that some vendors have figured out that there's plenty of business still out there, once parts are priced appropriately.
Kudos to ACG and EuroTeck for putting this deal together for everyone.

E63 diffuser fins seem to be larger/stick out further... I personally think the E55 looks better, more subtle, at least from the OP's post.
But yes, can we see the two diffusers next to one another and maybe some rear end shots to see differences?

You will need an E63 rear bumper cover and the chrome trim strips that go on it as the 55s are different. The bumper comes unpainted so you will need to get it painted too. Bumper at the dealer is about 1200. Parts.com about 750 if I remember correctly. Yes the 63 diffuser is much more aggressive looking but much more $$ to put on a 55.

Is Euroteck waiting until all parties have paid them on the groupbuy list and then commence fabricating the diffusers? Or fabricating now and until all payments are in, start shipping out all at once which takes 4-6wks?

Since the final price we all received was based on a minimum of 15 units, it seems fair to assume that EuroTeck should start building once they receive payment from at least 15 people.... that was their original agreement.
Obviously, we can't wait around forever for all 38 people to pay up... so there should be a time limit for receiving those payments.
My suggestion:
Offer new folks an opportunity to "buy a spot" off the list from someone who has not paid by the posted deadline. That puts everyone on notice that you either pay up, or someone else can eventually take your place and get the screaming deal you said you wanted..... that way EuroTeck still has the opportunity to sell the total quantity they were expecting, and this great discount doesn't go to waste just because a few people flake-out on the payment.
In the short term, I agree that the first 15 people to pay should get the first 15 units built... there should be an incentive to pay quickly as this helps everyone. Payments that come later will be added to a second build of parts. Basically, the first to pay should be first to get parts... but you can't manage it at the individual member level (Even though I'm sure that I was the FIRST to send payment to Tal)
