Hey guys! My car for some reason the rear air/heat is blowing hot air when the front is blowing cold. Anyone run into this problem before and knows how to fix it? I'm thinking it's a stuck actuator but don't know about how the E55 works. Yes the temp is turned down on the rear if that's what some of you are thinking is wrong. It's intermittent cause sometimes it blows cold and sometimes hot. I usually leave it on 72 throughout the cabin and set it on Auto. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated....especially from my back since it sweats during drives due to the awesome cabin temperature variances.

As always, Thanks!

Ty

If I remember correctly it is the heater control valve which is under the wiper assembly. I know I found it by searching so you can find the diy.

Yes, what also works is turning off the ac while driving for a minute then turning it back on

yah bro its your heater control valve.... same thing happened to mine a while back, it was blowing hot air in the back and than died all together... bought an oem one 45 bucks replaced it and called it a day... its a bit hidden and takes a bit time but you can save your self couple hundred dollars and do it your self... i was lucky to do mine because they were doing my windshield replacement at that time so they pretty much removed everything, the cowel and wiper blades etc all i did was went for the kill lol
