I was hoping for more excitement from the board (like we're seeing for the diffuser!) to really drive the pricing down on this one also. At the "15+ pricing" I'm a buyer and would find the scrilla somehow. Otherwise I'll have to ask Santa for this one later in the year.

How many "styles" of trunklid spoiler are there? It seems like most of the ones I've seen are a simple 1-piece version that copies the look of the Eurotek one. I think there was a 3-piece version (Carlsson maybe?) where a small extra piece extended over onto each of the rear quarterpanels, and there might have been one other design where the "shelf" on the spoiler was a bit more exaggerated and aggressive looking.
Regardless, even if I went with the Eurotek one I would probably have it painted "040" black to match my car. The carbon fiber would look odd and would call attention to itself (and not in a good way!) on the trunklid. My biggest concern with buying an "economy" version of the trunklid spoiler is that once painted, the part would have some visible waviness in it the way most molded ABS-type plastics do. It's almost impossible to get a laser-straight reflection from painted plastics...they always seem to give-away the fact that they are plastic due to the slight distortions in the part. A good bodyshop could probably mount the lip, and then do a bunch of bodywork to really flatten things out properly....but at that point, the extra labor costs would have allowed me to just buy the more expensive trunk lip in the first place.
