Pics of the E55 that I never took..well here they are

I always meant to take pics and just never did so here they are! Not the greatest picture taker! lol

I would love to know if anyone knows what the color is called? It is more gray than pewter in case it looks pewter in pics. I guess I can check the code on the car if no one can figure it out.

I figured that instead of going out tonight and probably getting drunk...this would be better!

Some of the upgrades are: carbon fiber rear spoiler, light tint, drilled slotted rotors, cold air inlet through grill opened, K&N's, tune by somebody (TTM did it and don't know who he was using at the time). Tune helped but... NOT NEARLY FAST ENOUGH!

Ill look now..is it in the door jam or glovebox?

UPDATE: Checked the code and it is 723...I assumed it was pewter and everyone else talked me out of it! I really started to believe that it wasn't pewter bc it does not look like the typical pewter...I thought pewter had more tan in it then this!

Thanks Manuyc...If it were faster it would be nicer to me!

Still debating what to do on mods...leave it and wait for 2012 e55 to come down on prices or just do the EC kit. I now have a guy to do the work for me so it's a thought or send the car to EC in Chicago. I am going to call them tomorrow and see if they can work something out. I am assuming that they do the work right? I do not think I ever read a thread or post of 'them' actually doing the work but I am sure that you guys know.

Haha, I found an old pic. Here's silver, silver, and pewter.

But yours looks better than mine.

John at EC in houston is the only person I've ever felt comfortable leaving my car with. Not sure if they do work in Chicago.

But damn it is tempting to stop modding and put that money towards a biturbo.

I know but I am guessing that $9k gets my car just about as fast as a bi-turbo with a tune which would put me in my car at only $29k...when I want to sell it maybe it is worth $22k...lose $7k and be going pretty fast as opposed to buying a bi-turbo for let's say $60k in a year from now (maybe even in winter time here) tune it for...let's overprice it at $1000...in for $61k plus more insurance I am sure and 2 years later it is worth $40k! Just doing the math here but the bi-turbo is badazzzzzz! This is the decision that I will make in the next week to a month!

Any opinions?

RBJ: Your car looks a lot more tan than mine! I'm tellin ya...mine looks much more grayish...I wish one of my local benz guys would chime in here but most aren't on here much. I will see some of them this Sunday prolly for our weekly 'morning release the stress tear up the roads meet' and I will see if one of them can splain!

I'm gonna prove you wrong there brotha. I already have a rematch scheduled with the Renntech BiTurbo that I raced before (we are friends). He said hes around 680whp now. And that just happens to be my "starting" number.

I have no doubt your twin turbo set up will rock. I was just making a pun, albeit bad, joke.
