Unhappy E55 dyno numbers question, need help

hi guys, i"m new here.
i got a 04 E55 and i just got a cl55 amg engine installed cause i blowed up my stock engine.
i went to a dyno, and get 411.13whp, and 391.81wtq.
i believe that the torque should be higher than the hp.
anybody knows why?

What's your AF ratio?
What gear did you dyno?
Did you dyno just once or was this a consecutive run?

I can't see the dyno graph - probably blocked here at work.

It sounds to me like the guy running it either a) didn't dyno the car in the appropriate gear (3rd) or b) started too late in the RPM range -remember, these cars make peak torque 2000-3500 range, and then it tapers off as the RPM rises.

EDIT: Something is definitely wrong as a healthy, stock 55K motor should be making 450+ torque at the wheels..

What rpm did the pull start at? What gear?

You may want to look for a better dyno operator since I'm hoping that isn't the only curve you got...

Was the car put into "dyno" mode? Before the dyno pulls? and turned off "dyno" mode when done?

This is what I was getting at. 391ft-lbs at 4500rpm is pretty normal for a stock car. You'll see ~450ft-lbs between 2500-3500rpm.

But the torque line appears to drop off the lower you go back in the rpms?

My guess is that the throttle got rolled into it and the car typically retards timing on tip in of the throttle. Once again, this dyno operator may not be the best...
