Hi everyone. im new to this forum. but i just bought a 2004 e55 and i noticed the car will not go over 100 mph unless i put the vehicle in dyno mode. otherwise the car acts like it hits the governor as soon as i hit 100. no check engine light on. my question is can this be in one of the settings. im new to this car. im thanking everyone in advance for any advise.

 

Do you have the correct size tires on the car? Does the little orange triangle light up when you get near those speeds?

 

It might have the winter tire speed limit set. I haven't messed with those settings in a long time but I believe it can only be set with a "star" system.
