The worst wheels I have ever put on any car Forgestar F14's
After going through 2 complete sets of Forgestar F14's in less then 6 months I have honestly began to question my driving and if I was the one to blame as Forgestar told me. Forgestar denied any coverage and I was told that I was to blame as they haven't ever had a broken wheel. I let it go and moved on with my life as it wasn't worth my time or money to deal with this business that only blames the customers and not their faulty & cheaply made product. I decided to write this post after I had a customer come in to order a new set of oem wheels due to gross product failure on his current set of forgestar wheels. Here is the kicker this was his 3rd set of the same exact Forgestar wheels as I had and have had numerous problems with, but once again forgestar stood behind their product and the customer was told his driving or faulty suspension where to blame. Do your self a favor avoid buying these wheels as they will most likely fail as ours did. I've attached some pics of the customers wheels that he has had on his car less then 3 months

Good thing i didnt drink the kool aid and got a set of Forgestars. But others swear by them and have experienced great customer service. Is Obamanomics so bad that vendors cant afford to take care of their customers?

I was never a fan of the Forgestar wheels. Especially the F14's But that was just my opinion. I never tried them.

Did you really just blame a lack of wheel quality on the President?

but dat obamba dun turned off everyones economies so he can give out obamba phones and obama care to everybody.
That's sarcasm. I have a degree in this stuff and I know enough to know that I don't know jack squat about how things work. I do get a kick out of hearing from all those that think they do, though. Especially on the internet.

I will never understand having to order wheels, wait, pay a premium and then bother fixing them or replacing after just a short amount of time.
I love wheels. But this **** is unacceptable.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't iForged own Forgestar? I could be wrong but that's another company I would stay far away from. Great looking, but for $4400 new, you wouldn't expect to have bends in them 2 days after the install......plus their CS blows.

look at the fotos the op posted. this is caused by hitting some object or a massive pothole. wheels done randomly bend. its possible a wheel could crack from track racing or a manufacturing defect but the bends are a direct hit form something.
i had a set of hre wheels (3 piece) on my turbo. within 6 months i had 2 bends on 2 wheels from normal driving and hitting a bridge separation or pothole. should we post rants about them and the crappy wheels?

Hopefully mine don't end up this way... Good think the car only sees maybe 5 or 10 miles a month, and that my roads aren't garbage here. Although if mine did fail like that, I wouldn't settle with their bs on suspension and driving styles. It was bad enough I had to wait more than three frickin months for these things...

Come on those pictures tell anyone that knows anything about cars that the owner hit something massive...any rim, including an OEM boat anchor, can bend and crack if you hit a pot hole....I did not look at the profile, but if you were running a 19" or 20" (smaller sidewall) and driving in SF, then you should expect to damage a rim from time to time....

This place is a joke.
I see 2 wheels that were damaged due to a road hazard, the 3rd with cracks I can't tell from the photo. Not sure why the "wheels" are to blame here. Lightweight wheels on a 4000+ lb car, with low profile tires.. maybe just not a great idea. Our factory wheels are thick and heavy for a reason.

Tons of folks run Forgestars on their MBs without any issue. The OP clearly smashed a massive pothole in the streets of SF and is delusional in thinking the rim should not bend or crack....
Like 320 said, anyone that has ordered rims, knows you have to wait and anyone that has bought Forgestars knows they are reputable and fairly priced. That said, any rim can get destroyed if you abuse them...

Wrong on several fronts....Forgestars cost ~$1500 for a set (4 rims)...

I was speaking about iForged being $4400.. I believe they own forgestar....I had my iForged Essen's on my car for less than 100 miles before the two fronts bent. I have had rims on all my previous cars with small sidewalls and never had that problem within such a short timeframe. And I go out of my way to avoid pothole, sewers, etc.
I took them off and sent them to iForged to be refinished as I had the bends after two days and some rash after the summer was over. They took 6 weeks to refinish them. When I received them, they were not straight and wouldn't balance. They tried to blame FedEx for shipping damage and my tech for not knowing what they were doing. They are a POS company.

you wait for hre wheels. you wait for vossen wheels. you wait for adv 1 wheels. sometimes up to 10 weeks. pay a premium? forgestar wheels are some of the best priced wheels in the industry.

I am in SF and pay way cheaper for my aftermarket one and don't bend lol. Mine was cheap cheap one lol. I would never pay 4k for wheels that can only hold on a perfect road lol. Our car is not plastic lol.

Forgestar and iForge are two different companies....
iForge is no good for the money IMHO....
Forgestar are a light cast rim and at $1500 for a set of 4 are a great deal IMHO.
