19s are not too bad, but you will notice a difference switching from 18s for sure. Michelin tyres are generally good ride. I have Hankook V12s and they're a little on the noisy side but the ride is ok.
That's the exact size I've got on mine (19x8.5 and 19x10). Perfect size in my opinion. I lowered the front slightly and the rear is stock ride height. With 4 full size adults there is no rub even on sport 2 suspension setting.

Lowered enough in sport, and no rubbing. Fitment is perfect. In fact, if I were to lower it I would gain some negative camber which would tuck the wheels in even more. So I don't understand your point.
