A few issues with keyless go...

Hi folks, having trouble with my keyless go door locks. I am able to unlock the back doors by grabbing the handles, but it wont work on the front doors. The front lock buttons work but the unlock don't.

Weird, also the rear trunk manual latch is not working. I found that it was stuck and no idea how to reset it. I tried my hidden key but no luck. The trunk opens with my keyfob and interior switch but not with the latch.

Any ideas? Thanks for your input!

Subscribing to this, as just this week my passenger front door will not open with the button on the door handle, but if I unlock with the remote I can get in fine. Still annoying.

The door handle sensors can go bad. The handles can be replaced but I forget the cost.

My front drivers side sensor has been bad since I got the car. I haven't felt like bothering with it, so I've been opening the car like I would any other (with the fob).

I guess I'd only really be interested in seeing how much dissasemby would be required to fix it.

Also the wires in the harness that runs in the drivers side trunk arm are getting pinched and frayed due to poor design. Do a search for trunk opener problems and you will find a DIY.

Both issues can be resolved in one afternoon for not a lot of money (relative to other AMG parts)

NICE find E55Freak. THANK YOU! I did some searches but never found that thread.
Just ordered a full black handle for 120 bux to my door off Ebay, and hopefully I can get back to opening doors for passengers "the cool way"

Tried searching for the trunk handle repair but only found the pneumatic latch fix. The issue that I am having with the trunk is the manual handle that you have to pull to open the trunk is stuck in the open position. Any ideas on that?

Awesome. Thanks! I'll be adding this to my "to do" list.

As I posted in the other thread, I had somewhat of the same problem for a while. I ended up inserting the key blade, and slowly rotating it through the full range of motion while feeling the handle for tension. Mine will engage somewhere in the middle of the range of rotation. When you hit the sweet spot angle with the key, you should "feel" the handle stiffen up like it has spring tension, and it will open when you pull on it.

I felt really stupid after figuring out mine was that easy to open.

I dont have the full range of motion in the key it seems. I have a few degrees of turning and thats about it.

Forgot to add, the handle doesn't spring back to the start postition at all. It stays in the "squeezed" position.
